About Us

Eunice Ng and Mojan Javadi are the founder of '10 Cents to Millions Project'. Their aim is to raise funds and bring awareness to Primary Mental Health.

 Mojan Javadi
Mojan Javadi is a New Zealand/Iranian filmmaker based in Auckland. Her aim is to inspire, educate, and create a positive impact through filmmaking.
Mojan is the Co- Founder of ‘The 10 Cents to Millions Project' and her main intention is to bring awareness to primary mental health and encourage the community to connect, share, learn, and explore life fully. Beside her involvement in each challenge, Mojan is documenting the project also taking care of the creative side and the online platform. She believes social media has offered totally new perspective for story telling. "Life is about collaboration rather than competition and what we can create through the power of the community is beyond our expectations"
I first met Eunice in 2008 when she was the art director for one of my short films. When we caught up last year Eunice talked about hermoney doubling scheme. I found it interesting and thought it would be great to engage the community as it has many underlying meanings and potentials. Since last year I have been working on the project and developing the idea. ‘The 10 cents to Millions Project’has an online platform allowing viewers to participate. We started with making 10 cents and have already made it to thousands.
We invite people to collaborate with usto get involvedand maybe even try it for themselves. Start with baby steps, start with making 10 centsthen double it to 20 cents, 40 cents and so on...Our tagline is “What can I do for you?” and this simple sentence opens many doors. First and foremost it opens communication and connection; it offers help and service and it requires taking action. We are not bound to do certain job or tasks as we are more capable than we imagine. I believe that there are unlimited opportunities and possibilities in life...all we need to do is to take action.
Through this project my horizons have expanded considerably and continue to do so. We can simply connect with others, expand our network, discover our abilities and skills, surprise ourselves, and create new experiences while having loads of fun. We all deserve to have a happy and fulfilling life.

Eunice Ng
Throughout my life I have struggled with the balance of doing what I enjoy and what I ought to be doing.  After high school my parents wouldn’t let me go to art school so I settled for business school. Two years in the corporate world made me think there must be more to life than 9-5 in front of the computer and so I finally fulfilled my desire by enrolling in art school. However, turned out that wasn’t quite what I was looking for either. I went travelling instead and found myself in a pattern of travelling, going back to the office, and taking off again when I once again became dissatisfied with being in the office. Being on the road made me happy but it felt like there was still something missing. I recognized my need for a creative outlet but at the same time, like everyone else, had to make a living.
I came across the formula at a Property Apprentice seminar and decided to set myself the challenge of doubling 10c to see how far I could get. The only rule was the money couldn’t come from my day job. This was perfect in satisfying my dilemma. It would allow me to be creative while making money.
Two things happened that has helped take the project to where it is today:
1.     Coming across John’s family tragedy.
2.     Re-connecting with Mojan, who I met during my art school days helping out on film sets.
So far it has been an awesome experience! As well as connecting with so many great new people, it has opened communication, even with my own family.  At the heart of it is community and I couldn’t have gotten this far by myself. I am very much looking forward to discovering what’s going to happen next!
